Oh the Eternal Battle within one's self.
To be:

Somebody you're SUPPOSED to be vs Somebody you'd WANT to be

To take it to another level;

Somebody you're SUPPOSED to be vs Sombody you REALLY are.

Does that hence, make us liars? Or maybe even just untruthful to say the least.
Pretenders and Liars; Are they one and the same? Do they mean the same thing? Is there no difference?
Then why make two separate words for them?

In my opinion, it is NOT subjective. It's universally two different words.
With similar (not same) meanings.

I guess that to pretend, you only decieve the people around you. But under the exterior, under the skin, you'd know and acccept the truth. The truth within yourself. For example, to pretend for the sake of societal beliefs and conventions. Pretending just as a 'hiding' mechanism. You 'hide' from something that you cannot really offer though it's expected of you. So, in a pretentious way of staying out of society's prying eyes, you decieve them for their sake. Compromising your own truth and honesty. You know who you are and what you're capable of, but why shy away from admitting it. Stop pretending, pull yourself together and set yourself free. Embrace You.

But lying is just unforgivable. To lie, is to not only decieve the people around you, but to decieve yourself. To decieve your own honesty. A lie is to make something dishonest seem like the truth. It's like fitting a square into a circle. Only if one is smaller than the other can it really fit. So the bigger the lie, the smaller the truth has to be in order for the story to fit. And hence, you will force yourself into believing that the lie is true. To force youself into something you're not fitted to be in. So don't be the stupid square trying to fit into that circle. Stop lying to yourself and be honest. Don't end up doing something you can't get out of just because the lie went out of proportion. Embrace You.

Alas, tis the Ever Eternal Battle within one's self.

Hello friends.
So, I've reset my blog, using the same url, of course.
I can never change the url of my blog.
It's just too hard.

So..
I know that I haven't been the most consistent or the most interesting when it comes to blogging, which, personally, I feel are the main requirements for a good blog.
But my motive for writing a blog is not to have the most number of people reading it.
Or even the most impactful of a blog.
I just need an outlet for my thoughts and emotions.
Like I've said to a couple of friends in school, who are having a hard time:
"You need an outlet. But a healthy one, of course."

But sometimes, I never relate it to myself.
Now I've been thinking, "Do I need an outlet, myself?", "How should I release all the pent up emotions that I've been feeling lately?", "Is there a way where I can express my true, naked self?"
All these thoughts led me here.

I've had this blog for a long time and many of my close friends would know.
And this had always been where I mess around.
All silly thoughts that I feel I couldn't express in reality would end up here.
The Healthy Gossips.
The best place for the idle talk.
Oh and I try not to gossip here. Ironic to the title.

And hence..
Here I shall end the first post to my old and renewed blog.
Hah! Wrap you head around that mouthful.
